Where it all Started

Crushed Chilli Atchar is a traditional specialty prepared at home. We have converted this art of atchar making in to commercial method using science of fermentation and preservation.

These products are processed under the supervision of experienced professionals using the best quality raw materials and superior ingredients and packed using latest technology. We offer our products in multiple ways to meet our clientele. Our quality staff check the entire product range on several parameters to present our customers with premium quality products.

Ensuring we adhere to very strict business policies, client centric approach and competitive price structure, we have been continuously expanding our list of clients. We export our products to Most of the Gauteng area.. Our aim is to cater to and expand our distribution with premium products without compromising on quality of process and product. We strive to provide value and service to our customer.

Our products are high in demand owing to the rich flavour, taste and a feel of home-made recipes.

The Founders

Trevor Gurumuthi & Brenda Fredricks was founded by almost nothing and have had to work hard to achieve the company’s enviable records of success. They started selling Crushed Chilli Atchar from Chilli Festivals and Prison Communities and began to find success. We have been in business for more than 15yrs. And continue to provide excellent products across Gauteng.

Our Product Range

Aromatic Flavours we have all come to love. Adding some spice to life and food. Our range consists of our flag ship product CHRUSHED CHILLI, at our highest heat level 5 our of 5.

The blends of spice to chilli, makes for a intoxicating taste that dances on your taste buds. It releases endorfins from the first bite to the last.

We then offer a slightly milder version CARROT & CHILLI. Same amazing taste but with a milder taste for those who cannot take too much heat. The heat level on our Carrot & Chilli is a 3 out of 5.

We have a selection of Mango Atchaar, from normal, garlic and peri peri. Again with the same great flavours offered, but considered mild 2 out of 5. The peri peri has a unique taste with a twist on our favourite mango atchaar giving it a 3 our of 5

With our additional product offering there was a natural migration into the use in our everyday production. We thought we should add to our already great range. For example we have a smooth and creamy peanut butter with its own natural flavours. No sugar, No salt, No palm oil. Our peanut butter is not just healthy but free from preservatives. Just a NATURAL smooth and creamy PEANUT BUTTER..

Chicken satay with peanut sauce

INGREDIENTS

1 can coconut milk

125 ml crunchy peanut butter

1/2 an onion, grated

1 T soya sauce

2 T brown sugar

1/2 t chilli flakes

1 garlic clove, crushed

400 g chicken breasts

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS

In a saucepan over medium heat, combine coconut milk, peanut butter, onion, soy sauce, brown sugar, and pepper flakes.

Bring to a boil, stirring frequently. Remove from heat, and keep warm.

Skin the chicken breasts, if needed, and chop into bite-sized pieces.

Thread the chicken into skweres and cover with the satay sauce for 30 minutes.

Grill over hot coals or in the oven for 5 minutes a side.

Ingredients

1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon pepper

3 teaspoons canola oil, divided

1 medium onion, thinly sliced

6 garlic cloves, minced

2 tablespoons minced fresh gingerroot

2 cans (15-1/2 ounces each) black-eyed peas, rinsed and drained

1 can (28 ounces) crushed tomatoes

1 large sweet potato, peeled and cut into 1-inch cubes

1 cup reduced-sodium chicken broth

1/4 cup creamy peanut butter

1-1/2 teaspoons minced fresh thyme or 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme, divided

1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Hot cooked brown rice, optional

Spicy Peanut Butter and Pork Sandwich

Ingredients

1 tablespoon creamy peanut butter

1 slice crusty white bread

2 tablespoons shredded cooked pork

1 teaspoon Sriracha chili sauce

Curry powder

Thinly sliced jalapeno pepper

Slow-Cooker Thai Butternut Squash Peanut Soup

Directions

In a 4- or 5-qt. slow cooker, combine the first 13 ingredients. Cook, covered, on low until squash is tender, 5-6 hours.

Puree soup using an immersion blender, or cool slightly and puree soup in batches in a blender. Return to slow cooker and heat through. If desired, garnish with cilantro and peanuts.
